We’re thrilled to announce that One Facility has received the prestigious Greener Path Award from our waste management partner ACM. This is in recognition of achieving zero waste to landfill for the last 12 months, at our client site Autolus, based at The Nucleus in Stevenage.
Team Dedication and Expertise
Our on-site team, equipped with extensive training on best practices and regulations in waste management, play a crucial role in implementing our waste management strategies, ensuring meticulous sorting and disposal techniques. This accomplishment showcases our ongoing commitment to environmental awareness and waste compliance, in line with our stringent standards.
Optimising Waste Management
The Greener Path Programme highlights our commitment to modernising our waste operations, optimising our supply chains, and reducing waste management risks, aligning with our corporate, social, and environmental responsibilities.
Our cutting-edge waste management technology provide our clients with full visibility and traceability over the journey of their waste. This transparency ensures accountability and allows our clients to monitor and optimise their waste management processes effectively.
Utilising RDF Methods
RDF (Refuse Derived Fuel) is a key component of our waste management approach. It’s produced from combustible components of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) and serves as a renewable energy source, avoiding landfill disposal. RDF processing involves size screening, shredding, and magnetic separation to create a material suitable for energy production. This sustainable approach not only reduces environmental impact but also offers economic benefits.
Receiving the Greener Path Award is just the beginning of our journey towards zero waste to landfill. We’re committed to continuing our efforts to protect the environment and promote sustainability every step of the way.
